Semester 4

My classes in Semester 4 included Web Development, Social Media, Video, and Audio. I gained skills in using GitHub, Adobe Premiere & Audition, and understanding marketing across social media platforms. Here are my proudest projects from this semester!

Echo Brand
DGTL-112 - Fictional Music & Social Media Platform

Echo is a fictional brand I developed for my Social Media Marketing class. Echo is a music streaming platform & social media service tied into one! Echo focuses on connection, discovery, and inclusivity, with advanced social features that make connecting over your favourite music possible. This assignment was an exercise in developing a brand identity, complete with tone of voice, colour palettes, typography, and more! The central focus of this assignment was to create brand guidelines for social media usage, explaining and displaying how Echo content should look across social media platforms.

Night at the Museum Home Movie Recreation
DGTL-105 - Video Editing Home Movie

This video is a project where I recreated two minutes of Night at the Museum, on a $0 budget. This assignment involved storyboard sketches, video editing techniques in Adobe Premiere, and working with others to produce a finished product. The encouragement to think outside the box to recreate complex scenes made me problem solve and come up with creative solutions!

Syncing Audio to an Animation
DGTL-101 - Audio Editing and Syncing

This Audio assignment involved gathering, editing, and syncing up audio clips to a provided animation. I edited all of the music and sound effects in Adobe Audition, utilizing stock clips from Freesound. This assignment showed me the importance of being detailed-oriented and meticulous in creating a finished product, as syncing the audio up to the animation required immense precision.
